FULL-TIME FIRE INSPECTOR
Minimum Qualifications:
- State of Ohio Fire Safety Inspector (preferred 2 years’ experience minimum)
- Valid Driver’s License with successful completion of driving record review.
- Ohio Firefighter Level II Certification
- State of Ohio Paramedic
- Successful completion of either the Stark State or Tri-C Firefighter Physical Agility Test (Waived if currently employed fulltime as a firemedic)
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and medical evaluation
- Starting salary range based on experience ($61,149.24-$74,234.85) plus incentives, benefits and overtime opportunities. (wage increases Jan 1 2026-5%, 2027-5%)
- Years of service in OP&F Pension will be taken into consideration for wage step advancement, vacation accrual, sick time transfers will be considered.
