Firefighter Applicants: Must hold either a Firefighter I and II certification and/or an EMT-B or above.. Don’t have both? We’ll cover the cost of the one you’re missing.

Starting Salaries:

• Firefighter: $50,856 – 53,435
• Sign-On Incentive: $3,000

What You’ll Do:

• Receive full sponsorship for Fire School and firefighter certification.
• Once certified, respond to fire, medical, and rescue incidents.
• Engage in fire prevention activities and public education programs.
• Participate in regular training to maintain readiness and improve skills.
• Maintain emergency medical and fire equipment.
• Complete documentation and collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive services.

Minimum Qualifications & Physical Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified as an AEMT (Advanced Emergency Medical Technician).
• Valid Georgia Driver’s License (Non-commercial Class A or B).
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (51-100 lbs.).
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including smoke and heat.
• Ability to work 24-hour shifts in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with the public.
