Certified Firefighter-EMT/Fire Cadet

Entry-level position for certified firefighter/EMT or non-certified fire cadet with the Big Spring Fire Department. Position offers additional pay for those holding Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) and/or Department of State Health Services (DSHS) certificates. Written test on March 27, 2026 at Howard College; physical agility test at BSFD Station 1.

Requirements: Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) certification and/or Department of State Health Services (DSHS) certification preferred; entry-level eligible

Salary: $41,187.32 - $47,392.80 Annually
