District Fire Chief

Executive leader of the fire district responsible for personnel development, operational readiness, fiscal management, strategic planning, community engagement, and delivery of high-quality emergency services. The Fire Chief works at the direction of the Board of Directors and oversees a combination fire and EMS organization serving approximately 440 square miles with 9 career personnel and 5 volunteers.

Requirements: Fire service leadership experience, operational competency, administrative ability, demonstrated commitment to rural communities, experience leading career and volunteer personnel, managing organizational resources, working with governing boards, developing leaders, maintaining community relationships, education and certifications necessary to lead a combination fire and EMS organization

Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 DOQ
