Requirements
The City of Henderson will hold an examination for the position of Firefighter, Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 9:00 A.M., City of Henderson Municipal Services Center, 1449 Corporate Court. Requirements: HS diploma/GED; must be at least 18 years old; must possess and maintain a valid driver?s license (no DUI convictions within the previous 5 years); or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, abilities, and requirements for this job. Must possess a current CPAT card by 7/17/22 and you must also have a current CPAT card on date of hire. Must be or become certified as an EMT and a Kentucky Certified Career Firefighter within one year of employment; must pass a pre-employment, post-offer drug and alcohol screen, physical and psychological exam and will be subject to further drug and alcohol testing throughout employment, if hired. Starting annualized wage of $38,311.41 plus $4,000 per year incentive pay upon completion of training requirements, plus benefits. You may apply online at www.cityofhendersonky.org.
